150th Anniversary Celebration and Photo Exhibit
On March 30th, 1857, Brookline Town Meeting voted to establish and fund the Public Library of Brookline. Please join your neighbors and town and state officials on Friday, March 30, 2007 for a photo exhibit, Brookline Then and Now, and reception to celebrate the Library's 150th Anniversary. Hors d'oeuvres and wine will be served.
Time: Friday March 30, 2007 5:30 - 7:30 PM
Place: Hunneman Hall, Main Library, 361 Washington St.
The exhibition will be open from March 30 through April 22. It can be seen in Hunneman Hall during library hours through April 22 until one-half hour before closing as long as the Hall is not being used for another purpose. Because of previously scheduled events, this exhibit will not be available for viewing during these times (subject to change): Saturday, Apr. 7 from 12-3 p.m.; Sunday, Apr. 8 the library is closed (Easter); Monday, Apr. 9 from 10-11 a.m.; Wednesday, Apr. 11 from 4-5 and from 7- 8:30 p.m.; Thursday, Apr. 12 from 1-3 p.m.; Saturday, Apr. 14 and Sunday, Apr. 15 from 1-4:30 p.m.; Monday, Apr. 16 the library is closed (Patriots' Day); Tuesday, Apr. 17 from 11-12 and 6:30-8:30 p.m.; Wednesday, Apr. 18 from 10:30-12 and 6:30-8:30 p.m; and Sunday, Apr. 22 from 2-4 p.m. Hunneman Hall is located on the second floor; take the elevator to the right of the main lobby.
