The Friends of the Brookline Public Library sponsors free conversation groups. These English Conversation Groups are for adults who speak English as a Second Language. We focus on practical, everyday topics. If you are a non-native English speaker who wants to have fun and meet people from all over the world while practicing your spoken English, then this is the place for you. No need to pre-register or signup. Just show up.

Also, a very informal conversation group meets Mondays 11-12 AM November through March at the Coolidge Corner Branch. During the more pleasant months, this group meets in the Minot Rose Garden at the intersection of Saint Paul and Browne Streets.

Informal Conversation Group at the Minot Rose Garden
Mondays 11-12 AM
A very informal conversation group meets April through October in the Minot Rose Garden at the intersection of Saint Paul and Browne Streets. This group is not sponsored by the Friends of the Library. However, during the colder months, November through March, it meets at the Coolidge Corner Branch Library.
