Billy Elliot is a typical 11-year-old boy in northern England. Well, maybe not so typical. On his way to boxing lessons, he stumbles across a ballet class, and is instantly taken with it. Under the covert guidance of the ballet teacher, Billy’s raw talent for dance takes flight. But when his father discovers his new ambition, Billy will have to fight for his dreams.
