At our Breaking Dawn Release Party, we all made pocket shrines to our favorite characters, the books, and the author—check them out! I’m amazed at the skill and creativity of these creators.

Since we had such a blast in the spring, we’re holding our second Photo Scavenger Hunt. We’ll provide the cameras and the pizza, your bring your treasure hunting skills. The clues will be tougher, so be creative, and there will be food!

Check out the photos from our Gaming Tournament launch for the Game On Summer Reading Program. Over 30 teens attended, and they are already demanding more. Remember, the finale is Friday August 29th, where we’ll have more gaming and the prize raffle for the entire summer program. This is all possible thanks to the generosity of the Friends of the Brookline Library—thanks for all your support!

Game On Teen Summer Reading Program 2008

If you’re a teen going into grades 7 through 12 join us for gaming, reading, and everything in between.
However you read this summer—with books, comics, magazines, audiobooks, or reading to someone else, sign up for our Teen Summer Reading program to get show off your reading and earn chances for excellent prizes at our end of the Gaming Tournament and Prize Finale. Sign up in the library or online, and you’ll automatically be entered into our weekly raffles. The more you read, the more tickets you gain for the Finale Gaming Tournament and Prize Raffle.
Every two hours you read = one ticket. Every title you read off of the Game One Reading List (coming soon!) = 2…
