An excellent manga. This would be great to give to a reader who’s skeptical of manga, as it would be more palatable to newbies. The coming of age aspect should appeal to anyone struggling to balance dreams and the more humdrum responsibilities of life, and the art and pacing are well matched. This is great for anyone who really adored Nick and Norah’s Infinite Playlist or Fat Kid Rules the World.
I loved the random antics of the guys as they hung out (whatever odd game they kept playing that involved perching on top of each other was hilarious every time you glimpsed it.) Touching, funny, contemplative, and endearing.
