What: Brookline Library's Teen Advisory Group Meetings
Where: The Main Library, 361 Washington St., 2nd Floor Conference Room
When: The third Tuesday of every month, 5-6pm
Who: Any and all teens who want to find out more about how to help change the library and teen services. The Teen Advisory Group is open to teens who live or go to school in Brookline, ages 12-18.

Dinner will be served! We will have pizza for everyone. smile

Teen Advisory Group FAQ

What is this?
The Teen Advisory Group is a forum for teens to help innovate, plan, and present programming and services for their fellow teens with the guidance of the Teen Librarian and library staff. The group will contribute to everything, from what to buy for the collection to planning a film series or book club.

Who can join?
Any teen who lives or goes to school in Brookline is welcome to join. You must be between the ages of 12 and 18 to sign up.

When does the Teen Advisory Group meet?
We are meeting once a month at this point, usually the last Wednesday of the month. Be sure to check back at the website to see when our next meeting is!

Why would I want to join the Teen Advisory Group?
Join the Teen Advisory Group if you want to have a say in what's happening for teens at the library and in Brookline. Join us if you want the opportunity to make a difference.

Can I get community service for joining and participating in the TAG?
YES! You are volunteering your time and thoughts to the library. If your school requires community service, joining the Teen Advisory Group definitely counts.
