abstract pattern artwork made from repurposed books

Larry Clifford’s vibrant BiblioQuilt series uses discarded books salvaged from basements, barns, attics, and public libraries. The artist repurposes every part of those books, and breathes new life into them with dyes, inks, and acrylics.

After producing award-winning biomedical illustrations and working in other healthcare roles, Clifford is thrilled to be getting back to his roots as a maker of fine art. Visit his online gallery to browse original works, limited-edition (giclee) prints, and posters. Ten percent of every sale resulting from the exhibit at Coolidge Corner Library will be donated back to the library.
