The Public Library of Brookline is here to help fill your days with books, stories, art, and so much more. Though our Library buildings are closed, we have many online resources--from virtual programs to answering your reference questions to digital books, movies, magazines, and more! We might be a little biased, but we can’t think of a better way to spend our time than by reading for fun. Kids, tweens, and teens, join our Read-At-Home-A-Thon as we try to spend 1,000 hours reading! And remember: there’s no wrong way to read.

Virtual Storytime



Join your Youth Services Librarians for a virtual, livestreamed storytime! This storytime is for all ages, but will be mostly targeted to our friends who are 0-5 years old.

You can access the livestream at the Public Library of Brookline’s Facebook page. In keeping with the permissions set by publishing houses, virtual storytimes will not be recorded or archived, so don’t be late!

Virtual Gentle Chair Yoga With Keith Beasley

Join us for Gentle Yoga with Keith Beasley on Zoom! The class is designed for those seeking improved strength, flexibility, and balance with gentle movements and gently performed yoga postures. The class will be done seated in a chair with some optional standing. Virtual Dungeons and Dragons



Join us for weekly D&D campaigns – virtually! All participants will need free accounts on and A computer with speakers and microphone capabilities is a plus, but not required. Those without a microphone can participate through text.

A beginning session on how to use D&D Beyond and Roll20 will take place on Tuesday, March 31 at 2 PM. All game sessions will be Fridays at 2 PM.

Participants will receive an email roughly 15 minutes before the campaign begins with a link to be invited to our specific campaign. Limit of 10 participants per session. For tweens and teens in grades 5-12 only. Please register for sessions through Eventbrite here.
