Women of '76 with Rita Parisi

Brookline Village

Saturday, March 29 from 2 to 3:30 PM

Rita Parisi of Waterfall Productions will be presenting Women of '76 in Hunneman Hall. Meet some of the women of 1776: Baroness von Riedesel, wife of a Hessian General and chronicler of life in the military camps; Prudence Wright, minute woman and spy catcher; Nancy Hart, southern frontiers woman who faced the enemy and won. Learn about these women and others, patriot and loyalist, American and foreign, who witnessed the American Revolution first hand and in some cases, changed the course of it. All ages are welcome at this event.

New Morning Program: Babytime!

Thursdays at 10:30 AM

Join us on Thursday mornings in Hunneman Hall for a baby lapsit program. Come prepared to sit on the floor with your baby in your lap and sing and play together! This program is for babies who aren't walking yet. Please stop by the Children’s Room Desk for a ticket, which we will begin handing out at 10 AM.

Brookline Music School Concert Series: Brahms & the Schumanns

Sunday, March 30 at 2 PM

Join BMS faculty members, Anran Qian (piano) and Stephanie Fong (viola) for a concert featuring the infamous love triangle of Brahms and the Schumanns. They are joined by collaborating artists, Omar Guey (violin) of the Boston Lyric Opera and Radius ensemble and Adam Esbensen (cello) of the Boston Symphony Orchestra.
