Head Law Librarian Alexandra Furtado from the Norfolk Law Library will discuss legal information for both landlords and tenants in Massachusetts, with special attention on leases, utilities, getting repairs made, security deposits, and eviction. This program CANNOT provide you with legal advice, but it will teach you how to find laws, legal resources, and guides and how the Trial Court Law Libraries can help you when you are experiencing a legal issue. Bring your questions about renting in Massachusetts!

Thursday, April 10 at 1 PM and 2 PM
Join us for these two special events at Coolidge Corner Library:
|
Storytime with a Farmer at 1 PM: Farmer Jen from Good Pickin' Farm will be visiting the library with her bunnies! Kids ages 3-7 and their grownups are invited to listen to a story, learn about working with animals, and have a chance to snuggle with a bunny. Due to capacity limits (we don't want to frighten the bunnies!), tickets for each of three rotations will be available at the children's desk starting at 12:30 on the day of the program.
|
Books with Bunnies at 2 PM: Farmer Jen from Good Pickin' Farm will be visiting the library with her bunnies. Readers ages 5-10 and their grownups are invited to bring a book and have a chance to read aloud to a bunny - carrot literature not required! Registration is required to reserve a slot with a bunny.
