Young Professional Musicians Collective

Brookline Village

Thursday, April 17 at 7 PM

The Young Professional Musicians Collective (YPMC) is excited to share their very first concert with you in partnership with the Public Library of Brookline. This one-hour long concert will feature the debut of a brand new composition by a local student of Berklee College of Music, as well as a variety of chamber pieces by renowned composers such as Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and Igor Stravinsky. The YPMC is a new organization created to empower college-aged and recently graduated professional musicians through performance experience, while providing accessible live music to the community.

The Poop Museum

Brookline Village

Friday, April 18 at 3 PM

Poop! Everyone and everything poops. In fact, pooping is one of the most important bodily functions. But why? And what is poop? And does every kind of animal poop the same way? These and many other fascinating facts about poop will be explained in your visit to The Poop Museum! This program is recommended for ages 5-9.

Space is limited. Free tickets are required and will be available at the Children’s Desk 30 minutes before the program begins.

Join Nature Club!

Every other Wednesday at 3:30 PM

Know a nature lover in 1st-2nd grade? There's still time to register for our kids' Nature Club at the Library! Nature Club meets every other week on Wednesdays at 3:30 PM. We will be planting seeds, learning about pollinators, investigating spring flowers, and plenty more! Sign up here if you're interested.
