Wednesday, August 6, 10 AM to 5PM
It's a summertime literary road trip! The challenge: visit as many Minuteman libraries as you can and take a picture of yourself with a designated item in each library. Then post your pics and tag the libraries with #mlncrawl2025.

Each library will have handouts and prizes--click through to download a passport and see the complete list of participating libraries. All three Brookline Libraries will have prizes and passports! No registration required.

Introverts unite! Join us for a half hour of unstructured social time and light refreshments followed by an hour of uninterrupted silent reading. Bring your own book.

Animals of the Desert - In two sessions!
|
|
Join us for a live animal program with Joys of Nature! Learn about desert animals from the US and around the world. This program is intended for children ages 5-9.
|
|
We're offering two identical 30 minute sessions of this program! Both sessions will be held in Hunneman Hall and require a free ticket to attend. Tickets will be available at the Children's Desk half an hour before each session begins. This program is generously sponsored by the Friends of the Brookline Public Library.

We need Volunteer Facilitators to help lead our Girls Who Code club! The Public Library of Brookline is partnering with Girls Who Code to bring free computer science opportunities to kids across our community. Our Clubs support 3-5th and 6-12th grade students. Temporary Food Policy at Coolidge Corner
|
|
|
As a temporary mitigation effort, food will not be allowed at the Coolidge Corner Library starting Monday, August 4th, 2025. Food is still allowed in designated spaces at Brookline Village and Putterham branches.
