Interested in creating your very own board game or card game from scratch? We'll run you through all the basics! Learn how to take an inkling of an idea and turn it into a fully fledged game!

Learn from an experienced board game designer and local Brookline resident, Dr. Lakshman Swamy, who will be sharing his experience with the process of game design. Get a sneak peek at his upcoming new game as well!

This program is for kids, tweens, and teens ages 8-18 only.

Saturday, November 2 from 2 to 4 PM
In this two-hour workshop, taught by local artist Diane Franklin, you will learn how to make a small artist book from a large single sheet of paper.
|
All materials will be provided, but participants can bring catalogues or old magazines with interesting pictures, old maps, discarded drawings, kids' art, or any other kind of paper that you find interesting and want to incorporate into the collage. We'll share all the materials that participants bring. This is a fun exercise, and no art skills or experience is required.

Registration is required and limited to 15 adult participants. Registration will open on Saturday, October 19 at 2:00 PM on the Eventbrite site here.
