90 Second Newbery Moviemaking Class

Interested in moviemaking? Want to see your films broadcast on TV? Become a 90-Second Movie Maker and all your dreams will come true.

During this eight-week-long program, students will condense the plot of a Newbery Award- or Honor-winning book into a short, 90 second-long video, which they will write, film, and perform themselves. The final result will be featured at our 90 Second Newbery Festival in April and broadcast on Brookline’s Public Access channel for all of your family and friends to enjoy!

This is an eight-week-long program; participants must commit to attending every session. For ages 8 and up. Registration will begin December 26th.
