Books in Bloom

The Public Library of Brookline, together with the Chestnut Hill Garden Club and the Garden Club of Brookline, invites you to step into a colorful and aromatic world of flowers inspired by books. See incredible floral arrangements displayed throughout the Brookline Village Library on Saturday, June 2, and Sunday, June 3, 2018.

Stop by anytime during regular library hours, grab a map, and see all the beautiful designs brought to life by the creativity of our local garden clubs and library staff.

Join us for a workshop on Saturday, June 2, 2018, where library staff will demonstrate how to create submerged floral centerpieces. Patrons who participate will get to take home a centerpiece of their own creation. Located at the Brookline Village Library, downstairs in the Commons Room, the workshop will have three identical half-hour sessions: from 2:00 – 2:30 PM2:40 – 3:10 PM, and 3:20 – 3:50 PM. Sessions are limited, so registration will be required. Supplies will be provided; just bring your creative spirit and join in the fun!
