Brookline Porchfest Kickoff

Join us for the fourth annual Brookline Porchfest!

From noon-7 PM, porches around Brookline will host a variety of musicians. And this year, Porchfest will kick off right here at the Brookline Village Library with a noontime performance by the band False Pocket on the Library lawn.

Over  the past three years Brookline Porchfest has featured hundreds of local performers celebrating music and community on porches throughout the town. Music genres have included a barbershop quartet, an 8-piece klezmer band, blues bands, rock bands, jazz groups, Forró musicians, the Brookline Symphony Orchestra, singer/songwriters, the Boston Typewriter Orchestra, a clarinet choir, heavy rock musicians, and a ukulele sing-a-long.

Learn more about Brookline Porchfest, including a full list of porches and musicians, on their website. The Putterham Library will also host two bands during Porchfest: Uncle Bob’s Donut Shoppe will perform at 1 PM, and Zack Facco will perform at 2 PM.

The rain date for Porchfest is Saturday, June 15.

Brookline Porchfest is sponsored by Arts Brookline and the Brookline Music School.
