Cosplay Mondays

Have you admired the meticulously costumed attendees at local conventions including Anime Boston and Boston Comic-Con? Would you like to join fellow fans and create your own cosplay outfit with the help of talented local artists? Join us for a series of workshops intended to guide you through creating your own cosplay with the support and guidance of our team of experts. You’ll learn about all aspects of creating a cosplay character from how to plan and research a look to sewing tips to makeup and wig styling.
Classes are free and will finish just in time for Boston Comic-Con August 11th.
Classes will meet every Monday at 7:00pm starting June 19th. Each class will run for an hour and a half. The only exception is that we will not meet on July 3 given the closeness to the July 4th holiday.
June 19: What is Cosplay? and Choosing/planning your cosplay
June 26: Planning your look and Modifying Street Clothes to create a cosplay
No meeting July 3
July 10: Navigating a sewing machine and sewing patterns
