“The Art of the Con” Friends of the Brookline Library Annual Meeting

Who could our speaker possibly be, and what would he be talking about, with a title like that? Well, we’re delighted to invite you to join us to hear Anthony Amore, head of security at the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum, talk about his life in the intriguing world of public and museum security, including the “lost and founds” of the very high-end art world! Before joining the Gardner, Anthony helped rebuild security at Logan Airport after 9/11, and was lead agent in responding to the “shoe bomber” attack of 2001. Since joining the Gardner, he now leads their investigation into the stolen artworks from 1990. Author of “Stealing Rembrandts” and more recently “The Art of the Con” (aha!), Do join us and get a view of the life of this expert in defeating “the con!”
