Heading for Extinction (And What To Do About It)

We are in the midst of an unprecedented climate crisis and ecological breakdown that threatens the continuation of life as we know it: record atmospheric carbon levels, global temperature rise, deforestation, plastic pollution, and mass extinction of species. In this public talk, speakers from Extinction Rebellion Boston will share the latest climate science on where our planet is heading, discuss some of the current psychology around climate change, and offer solutions through the study of social movements.

This event is part of a larger effort by Massachusetts libraries and CREW (Communities Responding to Extreme Weather) to highlight Climate Preparedness Week and create more opportunities for community discussion and involvement.
