How to Create a Graphic Novel Page

Like reading comics and graphic novels? Now, it’s your turn to start your own in this 2-hour, comics-making boot camp! We’ll discuss character development and plot strategy, then you’ll be coached in drawing a graphic novel page. You’ll learn how to create a small sketch—or thumbnail—of your page; then, you’ll learn how to create finished art. In addition to storytelling, topics include lettering, penciling, and inking.

Open for tweens in grades 5-7 only. Limit to 20 participants. Please register through Eventbrite here.
