Learn Something New: Book Art Workshop

This is part of our “Learn Something New” series of programs for adults!

Join librarian Robin Brenner to learn the basics of creating art from discarded books, including paper folding, creative cutting, and thinking outside the box (or the binding!).  Attendees can bring in their own books to transform or use one of our own samples to try out a new project.  We invite everyone to take the techniques used and create art for our second annual Libraries Transform Book Art Contest in honor of National Library Week.

Attendees will need to register in advance so we can ensure enough supplies to go around.
