Learn Something New: Fixit Clinic

electronics repair

Tired of ignoring that broken toaster on the shelf? Have a gadget that needs fixing? Bring your broken items to the Library’s Fixit Clinic and learn about basic repair and maintenance. Fixit Coaches with expertise in repairing a wide variety of objects will be standing by with tools and knowledge to share.

Acceptable items include: bikes/skateboards, clothing/textiles, computers/phones, kitchen appliances, jewelry, small electrical devices, and toys. This event takes place in the Commons on the ground floor of the Brookline Village Library.

Carry in only–no oversize items, firearms, or other dangerous items. Please limit one item per person, and register your item here.

If you are interested in volunteering as a Fixit Coach, you can sign up at this link.

This event is part of the Learn Something New series. Generously sponsored by the Library Trustees.
