Life In Haiti today – A update on health system leadership development, current unrest and how to stay engaged

As we approach the 1oth Anniversary of the Haitian earthquake, violence and economic stagnation stemming from a clash between the president and the opposition are worsening.  So many of us want to understand the causes and how we can help in some meaningful way.
Dr. Michelle Morse, founding Executive Director of EqualHealth, and former Director of Medical Education for Partners In Health’s Mirebalais Hospital will lead and engaged discussion on this critical topic. Recognizing that ecosystem of institutions and policies which produce miseducation, poverty, and resistance to structural change is complex, the work of EqualHealth is multi-pronged, global, multi-racial, interdisciplinary and grounded in a fundamental understanding of power, history, and justice.
This program is open to the public– all are welcome. Donations to EqualHealth are welcome.
