The Brookline Village and Putterham Libraries will close at 5 PM on Wednesday, November 21. All libraries will be closed on Thursday, November 22, in observance of Thanksgiving.

Writing Workshop with Virginia Pye

This workshop will focus on how to get started writing a story, where to look for inspiration, and how to shape the beginning. Award-winning author Virginia Pye will offer prompts to help participants get started and allow time for writing during the session. She will also offer insights about publication and share her own story of persistence as a writer.

Virginia Pye is the author of two award-winning novels, Dreams of the Red Phoenix and River of Dust, and the short story collection, Shelf Life of Happiness.
