My Two Cities: A Talk on Immigration and Personal Histories – CANCELED

Join Hanni Myers and Robin Stein to hear how they collaborated to create the book My Two Cities, and to learn about recording personal histories. In My Two Cities, author Robin Stein tells the story of Hanni Myers’s escape from 1938 Austria and immigration to America. The two will discuss how they worked together to tell this story, how past immigration stories relate to the present, and the importance of preserving personal histories. Public Library of Brookline archivist Jessica Steytler will also be on hand to share how you can use library resources to preserve your own family histories.
Copies of My Two Cities will be available for purchase and signing.
