What is it?

A 3D Printer is a tool that turns digital 3D models into real objects! All of our printers use PLA, a biodegradable plastic.

How Do I use it?

Starting May 17, 2021, you can take home a 3D Printer from any Library location for up to two weeks (and yes, they’re renewable)! No experience printing? No problem! Our kits come complete with 21 feet of PLA filament and step-by-step video instructions filmed by one of your local librarians – just add your own Windows PC.

What is it?

3D Scanners use depth measurements to generate a 3D model of physical objects!

How Do I use it?

Qlone 3D scanning software is installed on all Library iPads! You’ll also need to print your own measurement mat, available for free at the Qlone website.

What is it?

Our Button Makers are tools for creating pin-back buttons out of anything you can print or draw on paper! Read our Button Maker Quick Guide!

How Do I use it?

You can become certified to use our Button Makers by making an appointment with one of our ideaSPACE Team members! Once you’re certified, we just charge 25¢ per button to cover the cost of materials.

What is it?

Cricuts are computerized die cutters that integrate with your computer or smartphone to cut custom designs out of paper, fabric, and more!

How Do I use it?

Starting May 17, 2021, you can take home a Cricut Joy from any Library location for up to two weeks (and yes, they’re renewable)! Never used a Cricut machine before? No problem! Our kits come with everything you need to get started and step-by-step video instructions filmed by one of your local librarians – just add your own bluetooth-enabled computer, smartphone, or tablet.
