Learn about plant parts and functions with a visit from the the Massachusetts Horticultural Society's Plantmobile! This program is intended for kids ages 4 and up. Capacity is limited -- get a free ticket at the children’s desk starting at 3:30 PM.

Join special performer Matt Heaton for an interactive singalong! This program is for families and kids of all ages, but may be most appealing to kids ages 0-5. Free tickets are required and will be available at the Children’s Desk 30 minutes before the program begins.

Join us for an interactive magic show with professional magician, balloon sculptor, flea circus ringmaster, and storyteller Ed Popielarczyk! This event is for ages 3+ and will take place on the Putterham Lawn, weather permitting.

Enjoy our Plant a Seed, Read theme this summer! Decorate your own plant pot, and choose some seeds to plant inside.

This program is intended for children ages 4-10 and accompanying siblings and grownups. No ticket required!

Watch acrobat Li Liu perform hand balancing, plate spinning, ribbon dancing, diabolos, and foot juggling, and learn about Chinese language and culture. A few volunteers will have the opportunity to join her on stage! All ages are welcome to this fun, family-friendly event.

Brookline Summer Eats is a free summer meal program for community members of all ages (kids, tween, teens, and adults) serving breakfast and lunch Monday through Friday until August 14. Join the Library on these dates for fun performances and giveaways!

Our prize wheels have been spinning non-stop during the Plant a Seed, Read! summer reading program. Have you taken your turn yet? Whether you are a kid, tween, teen, or adult, it's not too late to join the excitement. Read your favorite books, spin the wheel, and take home stickers, treats, bookmarks, and other prizes! The fun continues through August 14.
