In addition to three individual study rooms at our Brookline Village location, the Public Library of Brookline has three large meeting rooms (one at each location) and one conference room (at Brookline Village) available for public meetings of a civic, educational, or cultural nature. These meetings must be free and open to the public and cannot be strictly social in nature (e.g., no private parties). Reservations must be made by an adult 21 years or older. All rooms should be booked online except for individual study rooms (which can be reserved by calling 617-730-2369). Before submitting an online request below, be sure to check Hours & Locations online. Please do not call the Library to check room availability; Please check our events calendar here for any potential conflicts. Our Coolidge Corner and Putterham locations are only open two evenings per week. Requesting a room constitutes acceptance of all of the points in the Meeting Room Policy. You must designate a contact person over 21 years old who accepts responsibility for adherence to all conditions of the policy and payment of fees.

- One hour rehearsal reservations: $20
Payment by check or cash is required on or before the day of the event.
If using the room equipment, you must meet with a staff member prior to the day of your event to walk-through set-up and ensure interoperability with your technology. Please see more information on meeting room equipment or call 617-730-2370.
The Hunneman Hall piano is tuned six times a year on the Fridays before BLMA concerts (see schedule here). If you wish to have the piano tuned, you must use the Library’s tuner (Tony McKenna 617-484-5600) at your own expense. You may not tune the piano yourself or hire any other person to do so. Note: it may not be possible to schedule the tuning just before your concert. The piano in Hunneman Hall may not be used on the Friday or Saturday before a Brookline Library Music Association (BLMA) concert.

How to Cancel or Change a Meeting Room Booking
Please call (617) 730-2360 or send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org if you need to change or cancel a booking. Please include your telephone number and enough information (e.g., date, time, title of event, and name of contact person) so that we can find the correct event.
