Library of Things
|
Library of Things materials are back! You can now borrow the following materials through contactless pickup:
|
- Board Games
- Launchpads
- Osmo Kits
- Nintendo Switches
- iPads
- Telescopes
Library of Things materials must be returned during operating hours, at the same location where they were picked up. To return these items, bring them to the pickup table and place them in the bin provided by a staff member. Do not return Library of Things items through the book drop.

Easy Reader Surprise Book Bundles
|

We all love surprises as much as you do – that's why we're adding a new Children's Book Surprise service for Easy Readers! You can now pick up a surprise bundle of 10 Easy Readers from any of our libraries. No reservations necessary! This service is great for kids ages 4-8, or for children who are learning to read independently. For more information on this service, visit our website!

Introduction to Jewish Genealogy

The Jewish Genealogical Society of Greater Boston presents a workshop tailored for beginners on the process of researching your family tree. The workshop is an overview of the principal records of genealogical information – vital records, immigration records, censuses – and where to find them.
|
Presenter Carol Clingan has been researching her family for almost 30 years and has traced her main lines back to about 1800. She is the chair of research projects at the Jewish Genealogical Society of Greater Boston and does research for friends and family as well as for clients.
