Speculative Fiction Book Group

Join us to explore science fiction and fantasy literature in a brand new book group: the Speculative Fiction Book Group. This group meets at the Brookline Village Library on the fourth Wednesday of the month, starting on September 25. Copies of the first selection, The Black Tides of Heaven by JY Yang, are available at the front desk of the Brookline Village Library. The audiobook is also available via Hoopla.

Bike Safety

Come to this one-hour presentation from the MassDOT’s Safe Routes to School initiative and learn about: the different types of bikes, the importance of having a bike that fits you, helmet fit, the basics of bike maintenance, what to wear, and where and how to ride safely. Ages 7-12 welcome!

Send your toy on an adventure to the BU Observatory for a night of stargazing! Your toy will enjoy a special trip on Wednesday night and return to the library Thursday evening with a fun souvenir!

Drop off your stuffed animal at the Children’s Room desk BEFORE 5 PM on Wednesday, August 28th, 2019 and pick it up AFTER 6 PM on Thursday, August 29th, 2019.
