Thanksgiving Hours

|
All Public Library of Brookline locations will close at 5 PM on Wednesday, November 27, and remain closed Thursday, November 28, for Thanksgiving. Regular hours will resume Friday, November 29.

Drag Queen Story Hour

Join the fabulous queens from the Boston chapter of Drag Queen Story Hour for a family storytime! Drag Queen Story Hour is a program for children ages 3–8 that raises awareness of gender diversity, promotes self-acceptance, and builds empathy through an enjoyable literary experience. It will be led by local Boston drag queens who will sing songs, read picture books, and engage in a craft activity. For more information on Drag Queen Story Hour, visit their website. Holiday Book Sale!

The Friends of the Brookline Public Library kick off their annual Holiday Sale Saturday, November 30 on the first floor of the Brookline Village Library. The sale will continue as long as special items last. The Friends have been collecting unique and beautiful items all year so you can find one-of-a-kind items for family and friends at prices that can't be beat: beautifully bound literature, like-new coffee table books, pristine art books, untouched children's books, and more!

What does 3D printing have to do with soap making? Find out how 21st century tools can make your age-old hobbies new again at this Ideaspace program! Using our 3D printer and vacuum former, we’ll create custom soap molds, then color, scent, melt, and pour our very own bars of soap to take home at this all ages event!
