Etch your sketch into a bookmark or a coaster with our Glowforge Laser Cutter! Drop in any time between 11 AM and 12:30 PM, doodle a design, then watch it get engraved onto your choice of a bookmark or a coaster. This event is for all ages.

Display Your Art at the Coolidge Corner Library

The Coolidge Corner Library is seeking art to display! Original artwork or collections can be displayed for one month in a locked glass display case measuring 28" wide, 58" long, and 8" high. Please email Brita at bzitin@minlib.net with contact information and a brief description of your proposed display. Brookline residents only, please.

Join us for an author talk as Maxim D. Shrayer discusses his new book, A Russian Immigrant. Told both linearly and non-linearly, with elements of suspense, mystery and crime, these three interconnected novellas gradually reveal many layers of the characters’ Russian, Jewish, and Soviet identities.
|
Maxim D. Shrayer, a translingual author, scholar, and translator, is Professor of Russian, English, and Jewish Studies at Boston College and Director of the Project on Russian and Eurasian Jewry at Harvard’s Davis Center.
