Begins TUESDAY, January 21 at 5:30 PM

The ArtsEmerson Play Reading Book Club is a dynamic theatre literacy and community education program that provides unique and radical access to scripts, artists, and conversations within the theatre. Deepen and expand your experience as a theater-goer through stimulating conversations and behind the scenes access to the world premiere of Detroit Red by Will Power.
Over the course of three weeks the group will read, discuss, and see this thought-provoking play which uplifts Malcolm X’s under-examined, life-shaping experiences as a young man who called Boston home. Registration is required. To sign up, visit the ArtsEmerson website or call 617-824-8400. Generously sponsored by the Friends of the Brookline Public Library.
