Take the Teen Tiny Art Challenge!

DRAFT Teen Tiny Art Challenge Oct 20201

begins MONDAY, October 25

We’re inviting all local teen artists to take our Tiny Art Challenge. We have a brand new display case at the Brookline Village Library just for teen collections and creations, and to start off our display we’re asking local teens to contribute a tiny painting! We’ll provide all the supplies and an art prompt, and you create the painting to bring back for display.

How it works:
  1. Starting Monday, October 25, pick up a Tiny Art Challenge kit at any library location. Your kit will include a tiny 4″x4″ canvas, paint brushes, and paint. We’ll ask you to leave behind the best contact information so we can get in touch once your painting is finished and so we can make sure all artists are properly credited.
  2. Paint a tiny painting inspired by the accompanying art prompt.
  3. Bring it back to the library by Monday, November 15 for display in Brookline Village.
  4. Your art will be on display just outside the Brookline Village Library Teen Room!
Open to teens in grades 8-12.
This event is generously sponsored by the Friends of the Brookline Public Library.
