Book Bundles are Back!
|
|
|
|
Already miss browsing our shelves? We miss you, too! That’s why we’re offering staff-selected book bundles to bring a little of the Library experience to you, even while we’re contactless. Here’s how it works:
|
|
1. Come by any Brookline Library location and give your name to the staff member at the door. No need to bring your physical library card!
|
2. Ask for a book bundle from one of the following genres:
|
- Adult Fiction
- Adult Mystery
- Adult Sci-Fi & Fantasy
- Adult Quick Picks
- Easy Readers
- Picture Books
- Children’s
- Tween
- Teen
|
3. Take home a surprise selection of titles hand-picked by our librarians, no holds or reservations necessary!

Contactless Pickup
|
|
The Library is currently back to a contactless pickup service model. During this time, you'll still be able to request and pick up materials, participate in virtual programs, and much more. For full details on our services in the coming weeks, please see our latest Letter from the Library Director.

Virtual: Using the Brookline Newspaper Database

The Public Library of Brookline provides online access to digitized Brookline newspapers from 1870 to 1941. Join Ken Liss of the Brookline Historical Society for a look at this great resource, with tips and tricks for learning about people, places, and events from 70 years of Brookline history.

Lunar New Year Celebration

Join us for a virtual Lunar New Year Celebration! Starting Tuesday, February 1, we’ll be featuring Lunar New Year storytime and craft-along videos on our YouTube Channel. Make sure to check them out here!

You can also visit any of our three libraries to pick up your Lunar New Year craft-along kit, fill out a wish slip for our Library Wish Trees, and enjoy other Lunar New Year fun!
|
Our Lunar New Year kits are intended for patrons of any age – but please, only pick up one kit per family as we have a limited supply. If you don’t get a kit, you can still celebrate with us! The craft instruction sheets included in the kits are all available on our website and you can watch fun Lunar New Year Celebration videos on our YouTube Channel.
