Join us for an entertaining evening of all-ages trivia! We’ll revisit our favorite parts of pop culture from the 1980s, 1990s, 2000s, and 2010s, so there is something for the whole team. Questions are geared for pop culture pros ages 8 and up. This program will be streamed live on our Facebook page.

Some important details for this event: You will need TWO DEVICES in order to enjoy the optimal experience – a computer/smart phone (to view the program on Facebook) and a smart phone or tablet (to play the game). Teams can be comprised of individual or multiple players. Recommended team size is 3-6 players. If members of a team are in separate locations, we suggest arranging a conference call during the game. UPCOMING EVENTS

Robert Reich: The System, Who Rigged It, How We Fix It (Virtual)

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

THURSDAY, February 11 at 7 PM

Millions of Americans have lost confidence in our political and economic system. With the characteristic clarity and passion that has made him a central civil voice, Robert B. Reich shows how wealth and power have interacted to install an elite oligarchy, eviscerate the middle class, and undermine democracy. Join us for an engaging conversation with Mr. Reich on his latest book, The System: Who Rigged It, How We Fix It. Christopher Lydon, host of the original podcast, Open Source, heard in Boston on WBUR, will moderate.

Space is limited, please register here. Login information will be sent the day of the event. Registration will close two hours before the event begins. After the event concludes, a recording will be posted online and available to everyone, no registration required. The live event and recording will both include closed captions.

If you’d like to borrow The System from the library, please reserve it here. Signed copies of The System will be available through Newtonville Books; please write to orders@newtonvillebooks if you would like to purchase a signed copy. This program is in partnership with the Newton Free Library.
