Library Closed for Patriots' Day

All Public Library of Brookline locations will be closed Monday, April 19 for Patriots' Day. Regular hours will resume Tuesday, April 20.

April Vacation Book Bundles for Teens, Tweens, and Kids!

MONDAY, April 8 - SATURDAY, April 17

Prepare for a sunny April vacation with a special book bundle! Visit any Library location between Monday, April 12 and Saturday, April 17 to check out a bundle, no reservation necessary. Simply ask at the door for a teen, tween, or kids bundle and receive five specially-selected books, a combination of fiction and graphic novels. Kids' bundles are geared for 3rd-4th graders, tween bundles are geared for 5th-7th graders, and teen bundles are geared for 8th-12th graders.

Act Up & Vote! is a work of investigative theater that explores voting and civic engagement. Performed by Central Square Theater's Youth Underground, the play is great for teens, tweens, and adults!

Genealogy Series: Navigating Online Resources

Genealogy enthusiasts have a wealth of online resources to choose from when conducting research. Which sites are most helpful, and how can you make the most of them? Genealogy expert Seema Kenney will demonstrate and discuss search techniques that should make finding any type of information on the Internet easier. Both subscription and free sites will be included.
