A Letter from the Library Director

Dear Library Patrons:

The Library is proceeding with our plan to re-open on June 1 at all three locations; however, the Governor's announcement drastically (and unexpectedly) changed public expectations about what public service will look like.

The Board of Library Trustees will be reviewing the plan on Monday, May 24, and I hope to announce new guidelines the next day.

The staff is looking forward to welcoming you back into the buildings. We appreciate all of the support you offered us throughout the pandemic, and hope that you all stayed safe and well.

Best,
Sara Slymon
Library Director

Library Closed for Memorial Day

All Public Library of Brookline locations will be closed Monday, May 31 for Memorial Day.

UPCOMING EVENTS

Virtual Family Bingo Night

DRAFT Family Bingo Night May 2021

THURSDAY, May 27 at 7 PM

Join us for a fun night of virtual family bingo! Each bingo winner will win an amazing prize, so don’t miss out! This program is for all ages and will be hosted on Zoom.

Click here to register for the Zoom link!

Some important details for this event: You will need TWO DEVICES in order to enjoy the optimal experience – a computer/smart phone (to join the program on Zoom) and a smart phone or tablet (to play the game). If you’re playing with multiple people in the same household, only one person needs to register for and open the Zoom call. The remaining players can play the game from other devices (one per person). You can also play as one team, in which case, you’d only need one other device.

This event is generously sponsored by the Friends of the Brookline Public Library.
