The Brookline Library Foundation, the non-profit arm of the Public Library of Brookline, is reaching out to our community with opportunities to contribute to our Library’s future. Over the past 20 years, funds raised by the Foundation have supported renovations, technology, books and materials, programs, museum passes, and more.

There are a variety of ways to contribute to the Foundation: as board members, as committee members for events, helping with outreach to the community, assisting with social media and technology usage, fundraising, and board development.

If you are interested in learning more about volunteering, please write to info@brooklinelibraryfoundation.org. We’d love to get to know you better and talk it over!

The Library is pleased to announce the start of a new monthly Lunch & Learn series. Starting September 27, these free classes—led by our librarians—will focus on a different topic each month. You provide your own lunch, and we’ll provide easy-to-use laptops, a great speaker, and a fun learning atmosphere.
Our first session will focus on the Google Suite, including Google Drive, Docs, Sheets, and Slides. For more information, and our class schedule, please visit our website.

The performance will be held on the lawn at the Brookline Village Library, at the intersection of School Street and Washington Street. Bring your blankets, chairs, and a picnic and come enjoy the music with us. In the event of rain, the concert will be held in Hunneman Hall.
