Antique Toys in Children's Room
Recently, a staff member at the Library discovered a treasure trove of antique toys in the Children’s Room. Check out a photo gallery of these fascinating toys. Their history at the Library is something of a mystery, but we believe they were donated quite some time ago.
In an effort to find out who donated these toys, we are enlisting the help of you, our dedicated library patrons. Do you know anything about the history of these toys at the library? Give us a call or send us a message. We’d love to hear from you.

Re-create Ferris Bueller's Day Off
Have you ever dreamed of being in the iconic parade scene from the beloved 80s classic, Ferris Bueller’s Day Off? The Library and the Brookline Interactive Group are giving you the chance to do just that!
We're recreating this scene as part of the Crowdsourced Boston project, and we need your help! We need people to play Ferris, Cameron, Sloan, extras, dancers, band members, and more to make this happen!
Rehearsal will be on the evening of Thursday, August 23, and we will film the dance on the morning of Friday, August 24.
