Froca: Afro-Caribbean Dance Fitness

Froca is a high-intensity, cardio dance workshop that blends the latest African and Caribbean moves. Set to the hottest hits from across Africa and the Diaspora, enjoy an exhilarating workout with Sylver Rochelin Randrianantenaina, a professional dancer from Madagascar who has performed with top African musicians worldwide and made a name for himself as a prominent dance cardio instructor in Boston. No experience necessary!

AARP Tax Aide Program

AARP Volunteer Tax Assistance will be available at the Brookline Village Library on the following Fridays: February 22, March 8, March 15, and April 5. There is no income guideline to qualify for assistance. However AARP’s target group for the tax aid program is low and moderate individuals or families. Appointments can only be made in-person at the Brookline Village Reference Desk. For more information please visit or call the Reference Desk at the Brookline Village Library.

Gym Passes at the Library

Looking to try out a gym in the Brookline area? We’ve got great news for you. You can now get a week-long pass to the Beacon Hill Athletic Club in Brookline Village.

Each passes admits one for a free week of full membership at the Beacon Hill Athletic Club at Brookline Village. It also grants you a single, hour-long orientation with a specialist. Want to get started? You can find our passes to the Beacon Hill Athletic Club with our other passes.

Chocolate Tasting for Teens

THURSDAY, February 14 at 3 PM

Join us to celebrate Valentine’s Day with a blind taste test of a variety of chocolates. Everyone may also make their own Valentine’s and small treat boxes to give away to their loved ones. Open to teens in grades 8 through 12. Limited to 20 participants, this event is first come, first served.

WEDNESDAY, February 20 at 7 PM

Want to get more out of Gmail and start using Google Drive? We’ll get you rolling with tons of tips and tricks in this hands-on training. You can bring your own computer or borrow one of the Library’s laptops.
