Women's History Month
Celebrate Women's History Month at the Public Library of Brookline. All month, we'll have displays, handouts, and programs celebrating women's history.
Brookline Village
Visit the Reference Desk and take part in a Guess the Book challenge, taking place all month. Can you guess the title and author of a classic book based on samples of text?
WEDNESDAY, March 13 and THURSDAY, March 14
Is there gender gap in storytelling? Visit the Teen Room for a special display on women in literature, media, and pop culture. The teen collection will be displayed to highlight stories about women and nonbinary protagonists, presenting a dramatic visual reminder of how many engaging stories for teens feature young women (and noting the gaps in representation).
