Spring is a time of change! Some animals are emerging from hibernation while some have been active all winter. Others might be singing, or even look like they are dancing, to show off. Learn up close and personal about animals in the spring here in New England, and beyond, and learn more about their wild relatives with Joy from Joys of Nature.

We're offering two identical 30 minute sessions of this program! The first session will run from 2-2:30 PM and the second session will run from 3-3:30 PM. Both sessions will be held in Hunneman Hall and require a free ticket to attend. Tickets will be available at the Children's Desk half an hour before each session begins. This program is intended for children ages 5-9.

Join us with Harvard Alpaca Ranch and a couple of their alpaca friends for a presentation on the wonderful world of alpacas and their history! The folks from Harvard Alpaca Ranch will be discussing why alpacas were originally domesticated by the Incan people and what makes their fiber (and personalities) so special — you may even get the chance to feel their soft and warm fleece up close. This event is for all ages.

Please note this program will be outdoors on the field next to the library.
