The Girl Bandits of the Warsaw Ghetto with Historian Elizabeth R. Hyman

Historian Elizabeth Hyman returns to take a deeper dive into the women heroes of the Warsaw Ghetto who were central to the Jewish resistance as fighters, commanders, couriers, and smugglers. What was their motivation, how did they succeed in their endeavors, and what was the impact of their work?

An Evening with the Brookline Symphony Chamber Players

Crochet Club

It's up to you to use our forest-gathered materials to build a home fit for a bug! Will our judge, Mr. Cranky B. Cockroach, approve of your shelter?

Visible Mending

Join Mariko Sugimori of Zoe & Mona Mending for a beginner-friendly introduction to basic mending techniques that are also fun and artistic. All materials will be provided, but you're welcome to bring in a garment you’re hoping to repair.
Attendance is limited to 15 participants. Free tickets will be available at the Patron Services Desk starting at 5:30 p.m..

Autism Acceptance Month Community Event

Saturday, April 11, 2 PM to 4 PM
This free community event led by Dr. Jenny Chu of Boston PEERS® will introduce practical, evidence-based strategies that help teens and young adults build friendships and social confidence, including an interactive social skills lesson, conversation practice, and more. Families, teens, young adults, educators, and community members are all welcome.

Musical Treasures of Asia - Brookline Music School Faculty Concert Series

Moments of Self-Care for Parents of Children with Disabilities

Friday, April 17, 11 AM to 12 PM
This interactive workshop led by local expert and parent Rachael Wurtman is designed for parents of school-aged children with disabilities. It will include simple seated exercises to release tension, as well as guided meditation, journaling, and music reflection. Space is limited and registration is required.
