Mini-Comic Workshop with Damian Alexander

How do you turn your everyday experience into a story? Join local author-cartoonist Damian Alexander for a mini-comic making workshop! Free tickets are required and will be available at the Children’s Desk a half hour before the program begins.
Open to kids ages 8-12 and limited to 20 participants.
This event is generously sponsored by the Brookline Library Foundation.

Pups @ Putterham: Read to a Dog!

Bring a favorite book and relax while you read to a friendly, furry, four-legged friend!
For kids grades K-4. Sessions are 15 minutes and registration is required.

Let's Talk Transportation with Sebastian Ware

Join us with Sebastian Ware, Brookline Senior Center's Transportation Coordinator, to discuss subsidized transportation options and resources for driving transitions. We’ll also talk all about getting around on the MBTA (including tips for using the RIDE).

Mandarin Storytime - 中文故事會

Join us for fun stories and songs in Mandarin! This program is aimed at children ages 0-5 and their caregivers. This program will be mostly in Mandarin, but all are welcome - no Mandarin language skills required!

Young Professional Musicians' Collective Concert

Join us with local author Kathleen Hirsch to hear a special reading from her recently published poetry book, Mending Prayer Rugs, followed by a guided poetry workshop. No experience required and all levels encouraged to attend!

Fall Art Workshop with Tongwood Art Center

Join us for a Fall Pop Art Workshop with Tongwood Art Center! Young artists will explore different fall motifs, pop art, and emulate Yayoi Kusama's dotted art style.
This workshop is best-suited for kids ages 7-10. Free tickets available in the Children's Room at 1 PM.
