Summer Session: Produce Stamping

Enjoy our Plant a Seed, Read theme this summer! Get creative with fruits and vegetables and all their shapes that you can make into art. This program is intended for children ages 4-10 and accompanying siblings and grownups. No ticket required!

Family Bingo

Tuesday, July 14, 4 PM to 5 PM
Whether you’re a bingo pro or are playing for the first time, we invite you to join us for a fun afternoon filled with bingo and prizes! This program is for kids of all ages and their families.

Flower Printing

Wednesday, July 15, 4 PM to 5 PM
Come print on fabric to make a beautiful flower printed piece of art! Please bring a white fabric item to print on, such as a t-shirt, bandana, socks, or anything else you like! This event is for kids ages 5 and up.

Wishing for Wings - Session 1 and Session 2

Session 2: 11:30 AM - 12:15 PM
Learn about the lifecycle of a butterfly as we sing songs, read, play, investigate, and create our own wearable paper wings.
These two identical sessions are intended for kids ages 2-5. Free tickets will be available at the children's desk half an hour before each session.

Color & Collage: Creative Unwind Workshop

This relaxed, low-pressure creative program is designed for adults looking to unwind while exploring a simple, hands-on art process combining coloring and collage techniques in a way that is approachable for all skill levels, with no prior experience needed. Limited to 12 people--first come, first served.

Plant Parts and Functions with Massachusetts Horticultural Society

Learn about plant parts and functions with a visit from the the Massachusetts Horticultural Society's Plantmobile! This program is intended for kids ages 4 and up.
Capacity is limited. Free tickets will be available at the children’s desk starting at 3:30 PM on the day of the event.

Matt Heaton Family Singalong

Saturday, July 25, 11 AM to 11:30 AM
Join special performer Matt Heaton for an interactive singalong! This program is for families and kids of all ages, but may be most appealing to kids ages 0-5. Free tickets are required and will be available at the Children’s Desk 30 minutes before the program begins.

Ed Popielarczyk Magic Show

Putterham
Monday, July 27, 2 PM to 3 PM
Join us for an interactive magic show with professional magician, balloon sculptor, flea circus ringmaster, and storyteller Ed Popielarczyk! This event is for ages 3+ and will take place on the Putterham Lawn, weather permitting.

Brookline Summer Eats is a free summer meal program for community members of all ages (kids, tween, teens, and adults) serving breakfast and lunch Monday through Friday until August 14. Join the Library on these dates for fun performances and giveaways!
