Open Game Play with Virtual Reality

One Up Games brings a variety of next-gen consoles and gaming monitors to the Library. Play popular, classic, and retro games - with the freedom to move around!
For kids ages 8+, tweens, and teens.

Stitch in Time

Tuesday, February 17, 3 PM to 5 PM
A no-stakes, all supplies provided, fiber arts group for teens in grades 8-12!

Puppet Play and Craft Time

Wednesday, February 18, 10:30 AM to 12 PM
Puppeteer Nicola Rose and her band of puppets will be visiting the library for a puppet playtime aimed at kids 0-5 including songs, stories, and puppet crafting! Pick up free tickets at the children’s desk starting at 10 AM.

Ed Popielarczyk Magic Show: Session 1 and Session 2

Wednesday, February 18, 2 PM to 2:45 PM and 3:30 to 4:15
Join us for two identical sessions of an interactive, family-friendly magic show with professional magician and storyteller Ed Popielarczyk! Tickets will be available at the Children's Desk 30 minutes before each session begins.
This program is recommended for kids ages 5 and up and is generously sponsored by the Brookline Library Foundation.

Red Envelope Craft - 手工红包制作

Join us in the Rabbit Hole to review crochet basics and learn something new. No registration required, and new members are welcome, no matter what skill level! Supplies will be provided, but members are welcome to bring their own projects from home! For kids ages 8+, tweens, and teens.

Chinese Tea Workshop

Putterham
Saturday, February 21, 2 PM to 3 PM
Join Xi Ouyang, founder of Kong Mountain Tea, for a calming and immersive tea workshop that will introduce the foundations of Chinese tea culture and guide participants through the art of brewing tea in the traditional gongfu style.
Limited to 12 participants. Free tickets are available at the service desk before the event.

Candlemaking with Hand.the.Light

Join us to learn how to make candles with Hand.the.Light. Patrons will be able to decorate, and scent their own candles.

A Look at Villains in Musicals
