Author Jennifer Welborn will read from Dr. Rosie Helps the Animals, an award-winning STEM picture book based on and informed by real-world veterinarians. After the reading, participants will get to diagnose and treat a stuffed animal!

Join the puppeteers from Shadow Joy Lab for a performance of The Great Zodiac River Race and learn about the twelve animals of the Chinese Zodiac! Following the show, participants will have a chance to explore the puppets and ask questions.

All ages are welcome but this performance is recommended for children ages 4-12 and their families. Free tickets will be available at the Children's Desk beginning at 1:30 PM.

Calling all fairy folk! Join us from 4-5 PM on Thursday, June 18th in the garden outside of the Children’s room to build fairy houses out of natural materials. This is a drop-in event for kids ages 4-9.

Pairs or groups of kids, tweens, teens, and accompanying grownups will paint and customize their own adorable corgi wearing a red bandanna with a heart in this perfect mix of guided instruction and personal creativity. Registration opens Thursday, June 25.
