Trivia Night: Find Your Voice

Brookline Village Library

WEDNESDAY, August 16 at 7:30 PM

As summer winds down and our lineup of summer reading programs comes to an end, celebrate this year’s summer reading theme of finding your voice by joining us for a trivia night. Adults and kids of all ages are welcome! Bring your group and come test your knowledge — all group sizes are welcome to compete and snacks are provided. The winning team takes home one of our summer reading grand prizes!

This event is generously sponsored by the Library Trustees.

Summer Reading 2023

We hope you've enjoyed Summer Reading 2023! This year's Find Your Voice Summer Reading Program runs through August 19, so there's still time for kids to track reading and for tweens, teens, and adults to check out library materials and earn prize wheel spins.

Kids and families can log any reading done prior to August 19 and redeem reading logs through the end of August. And starting today, everyone can earn one extra prize wheel spin by filling out a short Summer Reading survey - just ask for one at any of our service desks. Thank you all for reading with us this summer!

Last Week of Summer Storytime

This week, August 14-18, is the last week of summer storytime, but our storytimes will return soon. Fall storytimes will begin on Tuesday, September 5. Check out our full calendar of children's programs here!

On Display at the Library

Coolidge Corner Library
These illustrated library cards are by Elissa Martel – a local artist and librarian who grew up in Brookline. Elissa created these library cards as part of “The 100 Day Project,” an annual creativity challenge over 100 days, using marker, pen, and colored pencil. The illustrations in this exhibit are unique from the ones currently on display at the Brookline Village Library – together, the two exhibits feature the full set of 100 cards. On display through September 30.
