Stuffed Animal Sleepover

Brookline Village Library

TUESDAY, August 22

The stuffies of Brookline are going on an incredible, creative adventure to the Brookline Arts Center! Your toy will enjoy a special trip and return to the library with a fun surprise for you.

Drop your stuffed animal off at the Children’s Desk of the the Brookline Village Library before 5 PM on Tuesday, August 22 and pick it up after 6 PM on Wednesday, August 24. Then keep your eyes peeled for a special story and photographs that will be sent to your email and be posted on the library website!

50+ Job Seekers Networking Group

The Massachusetts Library Collaborative’s 50+ Job Seekers Networking Group meets twice monthly on Wednesdays, from 6-8 PM, via Zoom. If you are unemployed and actively looking, underemployed, seeking a new career direction, re-entering the job market after a long employment gap, or recently retired and looking for your "encore career," this networking group program is perfect for you!

Tween & Teen Crafternoon: Glitter Jars

THURSDAY, August 24 at 3 PM

Spend an afternoon crafting in the tween room! Use glitter, sequins, and all sorts of other materials to create mesmerizing glitter jars.

Historias en Español – Spanish Storytime

Coolidge Corner Library

MONDAY, August 28 at 3 PM

Esperamos nos acompañen en la biblioteca de Coolidge Corner cada 4o lunes del mes. Estaremos en el salon de abajo donde escucharemos historias y haremos actividades también!

Join us at Coolidge Corner in the downstairs program room for stories and activities in Spanish on the fourth Monday each month. This storytime is best for children ages 0 to 5 and their families.

Citizenship Class

Registration for this event is now open!

Need help preparing for the U.S. Citizenship Test? Join this Citizenship Class and learn the answers to the 100 civics questions, and how to prepare for the reading and writing test. All materials included. Students need to have a basic level of English, and have a legal Permanent Resident Card for at least 5 years, or, if married to a U.S. citizen, for at least 3 years.
